Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify there are no other DTCs set, except for DTC C11A9.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set 
  3. Verify DTC C11A9 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Perform the SPS function: K69 Transfer Case Control Module - Setup

      Enter the Transfer Case Clutch Identifier

      Refer to: Transfer Case Identification

    2. Clear DTCs after programming is complete. Clearing powertrain DTCs will set the Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) system status indicators to No.
    3. Perform the scan tool function: Range Actuator Learn

      Refer to: Transfer Case Range Actuator Learn 

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  4. All OK.
