Circuit/System Verification

NOTE:
Refer to the Diagnostic Aids in the list above before performing the Circuit/System Verification below.
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify there are no other DTCs set, except for DTC C05FF, C15AC.
- If any other DTCs are set
Diagnose other DTCs first.Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle .
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
- If any other DTCs are set
- Verify DTC C05FF, C15AC is not set.
- If the DTC is set
NOTE:The Range Actuator Learn Test does not have a parameter that indicates that the learn process have completed successfully
- Perform the following learn procedure: Transfer Case Range Actuator Learn
- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Disconnect the data link connector.
- Wait 30 s before proceeding to the next step.
- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Was the learn procedure completed successfully as per the Transfer Case Range Actuator Learn?
- If the procedure was successful
All OK.
- Go to next step: If the procedure was not successful
NOTE:If the learn was not completed successfully, refer to the Diagnostic Aids above before taking the next step.
- If the procedure was successful
- Test or replace the component: A16 Transfer Case Motor
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- All OK.
