Installation Procedure

  1. Position the transmission mount strut bracket (2) to the transmission.
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 3 NEW transmission mount strut bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) plus 45 to 60 degrees.
  3. Install the transmission mount strut. Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (All Wheel Drive) Transmission Mount Strut Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
