Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the electronic transmission range selector manual park release cable from the automatic transmission range selector lever cable lever, then position out of the way. 1	Manual Shift Shaft Pin CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Install the manual shift shaft pin to correct height. NOTE: Install a NEW manual shift shaft pin. Specification 7.9 mm (0.38 in) (a)
2	Manual Shift Shaft NOTE: Lubricate the shaft with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) to prevent damage to the manual shift shaft seal during installation.
