Symptoms - Hydraulic Brakes: Notes

IMPORTANT:

The following steps must be completed before using the symptom tables.

  1. Perform the vehicle diagnostic system check before using the brake indicator symptom tables. Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle
  2. Verify the following:
    • There are no DTCs set.
    • The control module(s) can communicate via the serial data link.
  3. Perform the brake system vehicle road test before using the hydraulic brake symptom tables in order to duplicate the customer's concern. Brake System Vehicle Road Test 
  4. Review the system operation in order to familiarize yourself with the system functions:
