Removal Procedure

Up/Down or In/Out Adjustment

1. Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
NOTE:

The door side upper and lower hinge bolts must remain tight enough to retain door adjusted position.

2. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Door Side - Loosen - Front Side Door Upper Hinge and Lower Hinge Replacement 

   Do NOT remove the bolts from the door.

   Adjust the front side door (1) up or down by repositioning the door as necessary.

   • Front side door (1) to body side outer panel (b) 4.5 mm (0.17 in ± 0.06 in)
   • Front side door (1) to rocker panel molding (e) 5.0 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.19 in ± 0.06 in)
4. Adjust the front side door (1) in or out by repositioning the door as necessary.
   • Front side door (1) to front fender (a) 0.25 mm ± 0.75 mm (0.01 in ± 0.03 in)
   • Ensure the front side door weatherstrip to body side outer panel gap (b) is consistent and the weatherstrip is fully seated.
   • Front side door window frame rear applique to rear side door window frame front applique (c) 1.5 mm (0.19 in ± 0.06 in)
   • Front side door (1) to rear side door (d) 0.25 mm ± 0.75 mm (0.01 in ± 0.03 in)
   • Front side door (1) to rocker panel molding (e) 6.0 mm ± 1.5 mm (0.23 in ± 0.06 in)

Fore/Aft Adjustment

1. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Remove - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
2. Front Fender Insulator - Remove - Front Fender Insulator Replacement 
3. Apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces.
NOTE:

The door side upper and lower hinge bolts must remain tight enough to retain door adjusted position.

4. Front Side Door Hinge Bolt - Body Side - Loosen - Front Side Door Upper Hinge and Lower Hinge Replacement 

   Do NOT remove the bolts from the door.

   Adjust the front side door (1) fore and aft by repositioning the door as necessary.

   • Front side door (1) to front fender (a) 3.5 mm ± 0.75 mm (0.13 in ± 0.03 in)
   • Front side door window frame rear applique to rear side door window frame front applique (b) 4.0 mm ± 1.25 mm (0.16 in ± 0.05 in)
   • Front side door (1) to rear side door (c) 3.5 mm ± 0.75 mm (0.13 in ± 0.03 in)
