Installation Procedure
Brake Pipe (2) - Install
- Remove the cap from the brake hose inlet fitting.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Secure [ 2x ]
Remove the plug from the brake pressure modulator valve pipe.
- Brake Pipe Fitting (2) - Install and tighten - Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pipe Replacement
- Brake Pipe Retainer (1) - Secure [ 2x ]
- Install the powertrain.
- For LSY engine, refer to Engine Replacement .
- For LGY engine, refer to Engine Replacement (AWD) , or Engine Replacement (RWD) .
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (JL9) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J56)
- Check the brake system for leaks.
