Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Plenum Front Panel - Remove - Plenum Front Panel Replacement
  3. Disconnect the brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.

    Disconnect the electrical connector: (1)

    Brake Master Cylinder Nut (1) - Remove [ 4x ]

  6. Plug the master cylinder outlet ports to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  7. Without separating the engine from the transmission, remove the powertrain. Engine Replacement

    Retainer (1) - Release [ 2x ]

  9. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Brake Pipe Fitting (2) - Remove
  10. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Brake Pipe Fitting (3) - Remove [ 2x ]
  11. Plug the brake pipes to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Retainer (1) - Release

  13. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Brake Pipe Fitting (2) - Remove
  14. Maneuver the brake pressure modulator valve brake pipe (3) out of the vehicle
  15. Transfer components as necessary.
