Installation Procedure
Brake Pedal Assembly (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Brake Pedal Nut (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
Brake Master Cylinder (1) - Install - Brake Master Cylinder Replacement - With Power Brake Booster and Electronic Brake Control Module
Brake Pedal Position Sensor (1) - Install - Brake Pedal Position Sensor Replacement
Electrical Connector (2) - Connect
- Fastener (1) - Secure [ 2x ]
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Install - Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (JL9) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J56)
- Check for brake system leaks.
