Preliminary Procedure Remove the appropriate front side door trim: Front Side Door Trim Replacement - Driver Side Front Side Door Trim Replacement - Passenger Side
1	Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding Retainer [ 2x ] Procedure Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to remove the push-in retainers.
2	Front Side Door Window Garnish Molding NOTE: There is a metal retainer on the backside of the front portion of the garnish molding. Procedure Pull outward starting at the front and moving slowly rearward to remove the molding. Ensure that the door weatherstrip is not trapped below the garnish molding once completely installed. Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.

Procedure
Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to remove the push-in retainers.

NOTE:

There is a metal retainer on the backside of the front portion of the garnish molding.

Procedure

Pull outward starting at the front and moving slowly rearward to remove the molding.
Ensure that the door weatherstrip is not trapped below the garnish molding once completely installed. Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.
