Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement: Notes

Removal Procedure

   Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (2) - Remove - Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement 

2. Plenum Drain Valve - Remove - Plenum Drain Valve Replacement

   Disconnect the cable end retainer (1) from the latch.

4. Release the hood primary latch release cable from the 2 retainer (2).

   Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer from the inside handle (1).

   Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) from the dash panel.

7. Attach mechanics wire to the hood primary latch release cable (2) and pull the cable out.
