Preliminary Procedures

  1. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Replacement - Passenger Side
  2. Remove the right instrument panel outer trim cover. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement 
  3. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Applique Replacement 
  4. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement - Right Side 
1 Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt [ 5x ]
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2 Instrument Panel Compartment

Procedure

  1. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  2. Reposition the component to access the electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
