- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify no other DTCs are set.
- If other DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
- Ignition - On
Perform the scan tool control function: Engine Controls Ignition Supply Voltage - On and Off
Verify a click can be heard or felt at the following component (s) when the scan tool control function was commanded:
- If a click cannot be heard or felt
Refer to DTC P0685-P0687, P0689, P0690, P1682, P16A7, P16AF, P16B3, P16BC, P16BD, or P16BF
- Go to next step: If a click can be heard or felt
- If a click cannot be heard or felt
- Verify DTC P163A is not set.
- If DTC P163A is set

- Go to next step: If DTC P163A is not set
- If DTC P163A is set
- All OK.
