- If only DTC P10BC, P2228, P2229, P2230, P227C, P227D, P227E is set
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Barometric Pressure Sensor = Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure - The value should be within the range listed in the table.
- Barometric Pressure Sensor 2 = Altitude Versus Barometric Pressure - The value should be within the range listed in the table.
- If not in the specified range
Replace the component: B75D Multifunction Intake Air Sensor - Bank 1
- If in the specified range
- Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Barometric Pressure Sensor = The value should not spike or drop out.
- Barometric Pressure Sensor 2 = The value should not spike or drop out.
Perform the action while monitoring the parameter:
- Wiggle the harness and connector: B75D Mass Airflow Sensor - Bank 1
- Wiggle the harness and connector: K20 Engine Control Module
- If the value spikes or drops out
Repair as necessary - Wiring / Terminal (s) / Electrical Connector (s)
- Go to next step: If the value does not spike or drop out
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Repeat step 2
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
