Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: B111B Turbocharger Boost/Intake Air Temperature Sensor
  3. Test for 54 to 54224 Ω between the test points: Signal terminal 1 & Low Reference terminal 3
    • If not between 54 and 54224 Ω 

      Replace the component: B111B Turbocharger Boost/Intake Air Temperature Sensor

    • Go to next step: If between 54 and 54224 Ω 
  4. Verify the value is within the range listed in the table: Temperature Versus Resistance - Intake Air Temperature Sensor (B111)
    • If not in the specified range 

      Replace the component: B111B Turbocharger Boost/Intake Air Temperature Sensor

    • Go to next step: If in the specified range 
  5. All OK.
