Installation Procedure

    Use the EN-46116  Valve Stem Seal Remover/Installer (1) in order to install the valve stem seal (2).

    Valve Spring (2) - Install

  3. Valve Spring Retainer (1) - Install

    Install the EN-46335-A  On-Vehicle Valve Spring Compressor (1) above the applicable cylinder as shown.

  5. Tighten the EN-46335-A  On-Vehicle Valve Spring Compressor bolt (2).
  6. Install the valve spring keeper (3).
  7. EN-46335-A  On-Vehicle Valve Spring Compressor - Remove
  8. Disconnect the EN-39313  adapter from the compressed air source.
  9. EN-39313  adapter - Remove
  10. Spark Plug - Install - Gas Engine Ignition Spark Plug Replacement
  11. Install the rocker arms. Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left Side

    EN-46106  Flywheel Holding Tool (1) - Remove

  13. Camshaft Carrier-Left Side - Install - Camshaft Carrier Resealing - Left Side 
  14. Valve Rocker Arm-Left Side - Install - Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Left Side 
  15. Install the starter. Starter Replacement (LSY) , or Starter Replacement (LGY)
