Inspection Procedure

- Inspect the oil pan for the following conditions:
- Damage to the engine oil cooler mount area (1)
- Damage to the engine oil level switch mounting holes (2)
- Gouges or damage to the lower oil pan sealing surfaces (3)
- Damage to the lower oil pan mounting holes (4)
- Damage to the engine oil level switch mounting hole (5)
- Damage to the drive shaft hole (6)
- Damage to the brace mounting bosses (7)
- Damage to the high pressure part seal area (8)
- Damage to the upper oil pan mounting holes (9)
- Gouges or damage to the upper oil pan sealing surfaces (10)
- Repair or replace the oil pan and/or oil pan components as necessary.
- Replace the lower oil pan if removed from the upper oil pan.
