Assemble Procedure

Oil Pan Baffle (1) - Install
- Oil Pan Baffle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 10 N.m (89 lb/in)
- Dowel Pin (3) - Install [ 2x ]
- Engine Block Oil Gallery Plug (4) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 40 N.m (30 lb-ft)
Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Seal (1) - Install NEW
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator (2) - Install
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Oil Separator Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 10 N.m (89 lb/in)
- Oil Pan High Pressure Port Seal (4) - Install NEW
Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch O-Ring Seal (1) - Install NEW
- Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch (2) - Install
- Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch Bolt (3) - Install [ 2x ] - Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch Replacement
- Engine Oil Level Switch Clip (4) - Install
- NOTE:
Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant
Apply proper sealant. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Lower Oil Pan (1) - Install NEW
- Lower Oil Pan Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [ 13x ] 8.5 N.m (75 lb/in)
Oil Pan Drain Plug Seal (1) - Install NEW
- Oil Pan Drain Plug (2) - Install and tighten 25 N.m (18 lb-ft)
- Oil Filter Adapter Fitting (3) - Install and tighten 35 N.m (26 lb-ft)
- Install a NEW oil filter and tighten 3/4 to 1 full turn after the gasket makes contact with the sealing surface on the filter mounting flange.
