Installation Procedure

    Charge Air Cooler Housing Gasket (2) - Install NEW

  2. Charge Air Cooler Cover (1) - Install

    Charge Air Cooler Cover Bolt (2) - Install [ 4x ]

  4. Charge Air Cooler Cover Bolt (3) - Install [ 8x ]
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Charge Air Cooler Cover Bolt - Tighten in sequence [ 12x ] 12 N.m (106 lb/in)

    Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 10 N.m (89 lb/in)

  7. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube-Left Side - Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube Replacement - Left Side

    Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 10 N.m (89 lb/in)

  9. Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube-Right Side - Install - Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Tube Replacement - Right Side

    Fuel Pipe Shield Bolt (1) - Install [ 2x ] - Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement

    Connect the evaporative emission canister purge valve (3) at the charge air cooler cover.

  12. Harness Connector (1, 2) - Connect

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose - Install - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Replacement (LGY from Intercooler Heat Exchanger Radiator to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Outlet Pipe) , or Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Replacement (RWD with LGY from Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Fitting to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Outlet Pipe) , or Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Replacement (LGY from Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Fitting to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose) , or Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Replacement (LGY from Intake Manifold to Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose) , or Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Replacement (AWD with LGY from Turbocharger Coolant Feed Pipe Fitting to Auxiliary Water Pump)

    Harness Connector (1) - Connect

  15. Retainer (2) - Connect [ 2x ]

    Intake Manifold Cover (2) - Install - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
