Charger Air Coolers Inspection Procedure

Inspect the charge air coolers for the following conditions:
- Damage or loose engine coolant air bleed valves (1)
- Inspect the charge air coolers sealing surface for warpage.
- Locate a straight edge across the charge air coolers sealing surface.
- Insert a feeler gauge between the charge air coolers and the straight edge. A charge air coolers with warpage in excess of 0.50 mm (0.020 in) must be replaced.
- Repair or replace the charge air coolers as necessary.
