Disassemble Procedure

Camshaft Cover - Left Side

    NOTE:

    These components have tamper-proof connections and cannot be disassembled.

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve (1) - Remove

  2. Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (2) - Remove [ 2x ]
  3. Camshaft Position Sensor (3) - Remove [ 2x ]
  4. Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve Bolt (4) - Remove
  5. Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve (5) - Remove
  6. Spark Plug Shield Seal (6) - Remove and DISCARD [ 3x ]

Camshaft Cover - Right Side

    NOTE:

    These components have tamper-proof connections and cannot be disassembled.

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve (1) - Remove

  2. Camshaft Position Sensor Bolt (2) - Remove [ 2x ]
  3. Camshaft Position Sensor (3) - Remove [ 2x ]
  4. Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve Bolt (4) - Remove
  5. Valve Rocker Arm Oil Control Valve (5) - Remove
  6. Spark Plug Shield Seal (6) - Remove and DISCARD [ 3x ]
