Installation Procedure

    Automatic Transmission Case Extension Seal (1) - Install NEW

  2. Lubricate the inside diameter of the output shaft seal before installing the extension onto the transmission. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
    3. CAUTION:

    Before installing the transmission case extension to the transmission case, make certain all internal transmission components including the stator shaft support assembly and output carrier are in place. Failure to do so may result in damage to the transmission.

  3. Automatic Transmission Case Extension (2) - Install
  4. Automatic Transmission Case Extension Bolt (3) - Install and hand tighten [6x]
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  5. Automatic Transmission Case Extension Bolt (3) - Tighten in sequence - Fastener Specifications
  6. Transmission - Install - Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive) , or Transmission Replacement (Rear Wheel Drive)
