DT-52697 Clearance Gage Plate

Using DT-52697 Clearance Gage Plate (1), set up the measurement as shown.
Reaction Sun Gear Thrust Bearing (2) - Measure
Measure from the top of the Reaction Sun Gear Thrust Bearing (2) to the top of the DT-52697 Clearance Gage Plate (1) as shown and record the measurement.
Repeat the measurement 180 degrees from the measurement in step 3.
Find the average of these two measurements from step 3 and step 4. Record this as dimension A.

Using DT-52697 Clearance Gage Plate (1), set up the measurement as shown.
Stator Shaft Support (2) - Measure
Measure from the case mating surface to the top of the DT-52697 Clearance Gage Plate (1) as shown and record the measurement.
Repeat the measurement 180 degrees from the measurement in step 8.
Find the average of these two measurements from step 8 and step 9. Record this as dimension B.
Subtract dimension B from dimension A to determine the correct Transmission Case Washer. Transmission Case Washer Specifications
