Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- NOTE:
Quantity of fasteners may vary based on option content.
Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield (2) - Remove
{If equipped} Retainer Clip (1) - Unclip [2x]
- {If equipped} Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor Harness (2) @ Front Brake Hose - Remove
Front Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Remove
Retainer Clip (1) - Unclip [2x]
- Front Wheel Speed Sensor Harness (2) @ Front Brake Hose - Remove
- {If equipped} Retainer Clip (3) - Unclip [2x]
- {If equipped} Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor Harness (4) - @ Front Brake Hose Remove
Front Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Remove
- Front Brake Hose Washer (3) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
- Front Brake Hose (2) @ Front Brake Caliper - Remove
- Plug the front brake hose outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Plug the front brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Front Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Remove
- Front Brake Pipe Nut (3) - Remove
- Front Brake Hose (2) - Remove
- Plug the front brake hose outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Cap the front brake pipe to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
