Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to SIR Warning .
- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.
- Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
- {If equipped} Disconnect the electrical connector.
- NOTE:
The following steps are only necessary if equipped with an instrument panel airbag disable switch.
Use a small flat - bladed tool to depress the tabs on the back side of the switch (1) and push the switch out from the instrument panel outer trim cover.
