Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Recover the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging

Unfasten the engine harness (1) from the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket, and position out of the away.
Unfasten the auxiliary generator battery jumper cable (2) from the lower air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger bracket stud, and position away.

Air Conditioning Evaporator Hose Clip Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (2) - Remove

Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger - Remove
Air Conditioning Evaporator Thermal Expansion Valve Seal (3) - Remove and DISCARD
Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bracket Bolt (4) - Remove

Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
Remove the air conditioning refrigerant heat exchanger from the engine compartment.

Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove
Remove the front brake pipe from the 2 retainers (2).
Plug the brake pipe union outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Cap the front brake pipe inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (3) - Remove [2x]
Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
Engine Front Splash Shield (2) - Remove

Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove
Plug the front brake hose inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Cap the front brake pipe to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Maneuver the front brake pipe (2) out of the vehicle.
