Installation Procedure
- Remove the cap from the front brake pipe.
- Remove the plug from the front brake hose outlet.
Front Brake Hose (2) - Install
- Front Brake Pipe Nut (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Front Brake Hose Retainer (1) - Install
- Remove the plug from the front brake hose outlet.
- Remove the plug the front brake caliper inlet.
Front Brake Hose Washer (3) - Install NEW [2x]
- Front Brake Hose (1) @ Front Brake Caliper - Install
- Front Brake Hose Fitting (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
{If equipped} Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor Harness (4) @ Front Brake Hose - Install
- {If equipped} Retainer Clip (3) - Secure [2x]
- Front Wheel Speed Sensor Harness (2) @ Front Brake Hose - Install
- Retainer Clip (1) - Secure [2x]
Front Brake Hose Fitting Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
{If equipped} Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor Harness (2) @ Front Brake Hose - Install
- {If equipped} Retainer Clip (1) - Secure [2x]
- NOTE:
Quantity of fasteners may vary based on option content.
Engine Front Splash Shield (2) - Install
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications [5x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (3) - Install [2x]
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J55)
- Check for brake system leaks.
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
CAUTION:
