Installation Procedure

    Brake System Control Module (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [4x] Fastener Specifications

    Electrical Connector (1) @ Brake System Control Module - Connect

    Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace (2) - Install

  5. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  6. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Plenum Front Panel (1) - Install

    Install the forward lamp wiring harness extension (3) into the plenum front panel.

  9. Plenum Front Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Plenum Front Panel Nut (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Install the forward lamp wiring harness extension (3) into the plenum front panel.

  12. Plenum Front Panel Nut (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  13. Plenum Front Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Install the windshield wiper system module (2) in the vehicle.

  15. Windshield Wiper System Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  16. Connect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.

    Windshield Wiper System Module Shield (1) - Install

    Air Inlet Grille Panel (2) - Install

  19. Install the air inlet grille panel (2) between both hood hinges.
  20. Connect the windshield washer nozzle hose to the windshield washer pump hose.
  21. Air Inlet Grille Panel Retainer (1) - Install [6x]

    Install the front compartment side sight shields (2) to both sides.

    Install the hood rear outer air inlet seals (2) to both sides.

  25. Install the hood rear outer air inlet seal retainers (1) to both sides.

    Install the air inlet grille panel extensions (1).

  27. Remove the masking tape from the body around the top edges of the air inlet grille panel extensions (1).
  28. Using a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water with a clean towel, remove any left over adhesive residue from the masking tape.

  30. Clean the windshield wiper transmission pivot shaft splines with a soft wire brush before installing the windshield wiper arms (3).
  31. Position the windshield wiper arms (3) on the windshield wiper transmission pivot shafts.
  32. Windshield Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  33. Windshield Wiper Arm Finish Cap (1) - Install [2x]
  34. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  35. Reprogram the brake system control module. Control Module References

    If required, realign the windshield wipers to their respective alignment circles (1) on the windshield.

  37. Lubricate the windshield with clean washer fluid.
  38. Run the windshield wipers for two complete cycles then turn off the windshield wipers.
  39. Ensure the windshield wipers are in the full park position.
  40. Inspect the windshield wipers for proper position to the alignment circles (1) on the windshield.
