Installation Procedure

With the aide of an assistant install the rear compartment lid hinge (2).
Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Bolt (1) - Install

CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the remaining rear compartment hinge bolt (1) and tighten both bolts to. Fastener Specifications

Rear Window Panel Trim Retainer (1) - Install [3x]
Rear Window Panel Trim (2) Install
1. With the aid of an assistant, guide the rear window panel trim (1) rearward in the vehicle and downward to clear the speaker system.
2. Route the center seat belt webbing, buckle, and bezel through the trim (1).
3. Ensure the rear window trim panel feet are seated into the rear window sheet metal drain shoe.

Quarter Upper Trim Panel (3) - Install [2x]
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap - Install [2x]

Install and tighten the lower rear seat belt retractor bolt (1) on both sides. Fastener Specifications
Feed the rear seat belt retractor belt through the bezel opening in the quarter upper trim panel.

Rear Seat Back Bolster (2) - Install [2x]
Rear Seat Back Bolster Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

Slide the rear seat back bolster retainer lock (1) toward the front of the vehicle.

Using the appropriate tool, install the rear compartment lid hinge torque rod (1) on the right side.

Ensure the auxiliary rear compartment latch release handle is routed through the rear compartment lid inner panel trim.
