Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Replacement: Notes

Removal Procedure

   Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

2. Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) - Remove
3. Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable (3) from the hood primary latch.

   Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer from the inside handle (1).

   Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable grommet (1) from the dash panel.

6. Attach mechanics wire to the hood primary latch release cable (2) and pull the cable out.
7. Remove the mechanics wire from the hood Primary latch release cable.
