Heater and Air Conditioning Control Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control (2) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Hazard Warning Switch Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Pull the hazard warning switch (2) straight back to release.
Hazard Warning Switch (2) - Remove

Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

With a flat bladed plastic trim tool, start at the front and work your way back to release the clips.
Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Remove

Disconnect the hood primary latch release cable end retainer from the hood primary latch release cable handle (1).

Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove
Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (3) - Remove [2x]

Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.

Release the tabs from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Move the steering column up so you can access the lower left corner of the instrument panel center trim pad (1).
Start with a flat - bladed plastic trim tool in the lower left corner of the instrument panel center trim pad (1) and work your way clockwise.
Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad (1) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector.

Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Remove [3x]

Release the clips with a suitable tool.
Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
Clear the instrument panel knee bolster deflector studs when removing the instrument panel knee bolster (1).

Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
{If equipped} Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE:
Prior to disconnecting the BCM, one or both front windows should be down to allow access into the vehicle once the door is closed.

Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2).
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.

Release the front edge of the front console extension panel from the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

Reposition the seat as necessary to access the retaining clips.
Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (1) - Remove

Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Remove

Front Floor Console Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
Disconnect the front floor console harness connector on both sides of the front floor console.
Release the tabs (3) on both sides of the front floor console.

Slide the front floor console (1) enough to clear the instrument panel lower center trim panel.

Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE:

Use a plastic trim tool if necessary.

Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (2) - Remove
Transfer components as necessary.
