Installation Procedure

    Connect the electrical connector.

  2. Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Panel (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Slide the front floor console (1) back into the instrument panel.

    Engage the tabs (3) on both sides of the front floor console.

  6. Connect the front floor console harness connector on both sides of the front floor console.
  7. Front Floor Console Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications 
  8. Front Floor Console Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Install

  10. Return the seat to its original position.

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (1) - Install

  12. Return the seat to its original position.

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  18. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Passenger Side (2) - Install
  19. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  21. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install
  22. Install the front edge of the front floor console extension panel into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications 

  24. Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Unlock and lower the body control module bracket (2).

  26. Connect the electrical connectors.
  27. Close and lock the body control module bracket (2) into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator.
  28. Body Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    {If equipped} Connect the electrical connector.

  30. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Right Side (1) - Install

    Connect and position the wiring harness.

    Data Link Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  34. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Center Trim Pad (1) - Install

  36. Return the steering column to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  38. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator (1) - Install

    Install the tabs into the instrument panel lower trim panel insulator (1).

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Install

  41. Instrument Panel Insulator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 
  42. Instrument Panel Insulator Nut (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Attach the hood primary latch release cable end retainer to the hood primary latch release cable handle (1).

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connector.

  46. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag - Driver Side (2) - Install
  47. Instrument Panel Lower Airbag Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  49. Hazard Warning Switch (2) - Install
  50. Firmly secure the hazard warning switch (2) straight forward and ensure it is fully seated.
  51. Hazard Warning Switch Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  53. Heater and Air Conditioning User Interface Control (2) - Install
  54. Heater and Air Conditioning Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate (2) - Install

  56. Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  57. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Radio Control (2) - Install

  59. Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  62. Enable the SIR System. SIR Disabling and Enabling
  63. Clear DTCs
