Oil Pressure Diagnosis and Testing: Procedure

- Disconnect the electrical connector (1)
Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (1) - Remove
- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
Install the EN-6106 Oil Pressure Gauge Adapter (1).
- Install the KM-498 - B Oil Pressure Gauge (2).
- Start the engine.
- Check the engine oil pressure.
- At idling speed, the oil pressure is 155 kPa (22.48 psi) and the oil temperature must be 20°C (65°F) or more.
- At 1500 rpm, the oil pressure is 230 - 170 kPa (33.36 - 24.66 psi) and the oil temperature must be 20°C (65°F) or more.
- Remove the KM-498 - B Oil Pressure Gauge (2).
- Remove the EN-6106 Oil Pressure Gauge Adapter (1).
- Turn off the engine.
Engine Oil Pressure Sensor Seal (2) - Install NEW
- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (1) - Install and tighten 35 N.m (26 lb ft)
- Check the engine oil level.
