Removal Procedure

Using the appropriate tool, release the integral retainers.
- Hood Front Edge Weatherstrip (1) - Remove
Hood Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [9x]
- Release the 2 integral tabs at the bottom of the hood insulator.
- Hood Insulator (2) - Remove
Hood Hinge Nut (1) - Remove [4x]
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood (2).
