Installation Procedure

  1. GM5135894

    Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose Fitting Seal (4) - Install NEW [2x]

  2. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose (3) - Install
  3. Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  5. GM5135762

    Electrical Connector (1) @ Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2) - Install

  6. Connect the electrical connector at the sensor.
  7. GM5335089

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  8. GM5335087
    NOTE:

    Ensure the engine sight shield retainers fully engage the intake manifold cover studs.

    Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (1).

  9. Install the oil fill cap.
