Removal Procedure
With the aid of an assistant, remove the fascia. (1) Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (without Blackwing) , or Rear Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing)
- Disconnect all the electrical connectors and reposition the wiring harness as necessary
- WARNING:
Refer to Eye Protection Warning .
Drill out the 2 low frequency rear bumper antenna rivets (1). Remove and DISCARD
- Low Frequency Rear Bumper Antenna (2) - Remove
Rear Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Clip (1) - Remove [4x]
- Rear Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
- Rear Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber (3) - Remove
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
WARNING:Refer to Eye Protection Warning .
Drill out the 8 rear bumper fascia extension rivets (1). - Left Side and Right Side Remove and DISCARD
- Rear Bumper Fascia Extension- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
Right side shown, left side similar.
Rear Fascia Lower Signal Lamp Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [6x]
- Rear Fascia Signal Lamp- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
Right side shown, left side similar.
Short Range Radar Sensor Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Short Range Radar Sensor- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
Right side shown, left side similar.
Side Object Sensing Alert Module Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Side Object Sensing Alert Module- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]
Lift the locking tabs on the housings and remove the 4 parking assist alarm sensor (1).
Rear Bumper Fascia Diffuser Retainer (1) - Remove [14x]
- Release the retainer tabs on the rear bumper upper fascia (2) and remove from the lower fascia.
