Installation Procedure

  1. GM5402098

    Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pump (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pump Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  3. GM5504205

    Fuel Feed Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  4. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (2) - Install [2x] - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  5. GM5504181

    Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

    NOTE:

    Ensure the intake manifold cover insulator retainers fully engage the intake manifold cover studs.

    Intake Manifold Cover Insulator (1) - Install

  7. GM5456746

    Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  8. GM5432174

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  9. GM5432171

    Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (2).

  10. Intake Manifold Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  11. Install the oil fill cap.
