Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil fill cap.
  2. GM5335087

    Lift up on the front of the intake manifold cover (1) as indicated.

  3. GM5335089

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Remove

  4. GM5299805
    NOTE:

    Only replace the faulty camshaft intake lobe sensor.

    Disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft intake lobe sensor.

  5. Camshaft Intake Lobe Sensor Bolt (1) - Remove
  6. Camshaft Intake Lobe Sensor (2) - Remove
