Installation Procedure

  1. GM5299805

    Camshaft Intake Lobe Sensor (2) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Camshaft Intake Lobe Sensor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the camshaft intake lobe sensor.
  4. GM5335089

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  5. GM5335087
    NOTE:

    Ensure the intake manifold cover fully engages the intake manifold cover studs.

  6. Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (1) as indicated.
  7. Install the oil fill cap.
