Installation Procedure

  1. GM5670364

    Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe (2) - Install NEW

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  2. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Front Pipe Nut (3) - Tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  4. Reposition wiring harness as necessary.

    Position back transmission vent hose and connect retainer.

  6. GM5403825

    Fuel Feed Pipe (1) - Connect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  7. Position back wiring harness as necessary.

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install

  9. GM5335087
    NOTE:

    Ensure the intake manifold cover retainers fully engage the intake manifold cover studs.

    Push down on the front of the intake manifold cover (1) engaging the intake manifold cover retainers to the intake manifold cover studs.

  10. Install the oil fill cap.
  11. Pressurize the fuel system and inspect for leaks.
