Removal Procedure

  1. GM5318338

    Evaporative Emission Pipe (1) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. GM5309833

    Exhaust Heat Shield Bolt-Left Front (1) - Remove

  4. Reposition the left front edge of exhaust intermediate underbody heat shield (2).
  5. GM5573133

    Exhaust Heat Shield Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

  6. Exhaust Heat Shield Nut (2) - Remove [3x]
  7. Exhaust Front Underbody Heat Shield- Left Side (3) - Remove

    Evaporative Emission Pipe (1) @ Retainer (2) - Remove [2x]

  9. GM5318350

    Evaporative Emission Pipe (1) @ Fuel Tank Vent Valve Hose (2) - Disconnect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service 

  10. Evaporative Emission Pipe (1) @ Retainer (3) - Remove [4x]
  11. Evaporative Emission Pipe (1) - Remove
