Installation Procedure
Charge Air Cooler (2) - Install
- Charge Air Cooler Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
DO NOT insert fingers inside quick connect to manipulate duct during disassembly/assembly. Rubber pad gloves increase risk to dislodge seal.
Position charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) perpendicular to charge air cooler (3) and install.
- Retainer Spring (1) - Engage
- Verify connection is properly made by pulling and pushing on the tube at the quick connector location.
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2) @ Charge Air Cooler (3) - Install
- Electrical Connector (4) - Connect
- Retainer Spring (1) - Engage
Lower the vehicle.
- Reposition the condenser to the radiator.
- Air Conditioning Condenser Bolt (2) - Install
- Air Conditioning Condenser Tube Bolt (1) - Install
Install the radiator air side baffle (1) by manipulating it between the vehicle components and beneath the radiator air upper baffle.

Some components not shown for graphic clarity.
Radiator Air Seal Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
Radiator Upper Bracket (3) - Install
- Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Install
Install the radiator air side baffle (1) by manipulating it between the vehicle components and beneath the radiator air upper baffle.
Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Radiator Air Side Baffle - Install
- Radiator Air Seal Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
Radiator Upper Bracket (2) - Install
- Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Install
- Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [7x]
- Raise the vehicle.
Radiator Air Seal Retainer (1) - Install [1x]
Radiator Air Seal Retainer (1) - Install [1x]
Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle (1) - Install
Radiator Air Front Lower Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [2x]
Radiator Air Lower Baffle (1) - Install
Radiator Air Lower Baffle Retainer (2) - Install
- Radiator Air Lower Seal Retainer (1) - Install [6x]
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector (1) - Install
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Retainer (3) - Install [2x]
- Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [10x] - Fastener Specifications .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Start vehicle and listen for whistling at the charge air cooler inlet air tube quick connect located at the charge air cooler.
Verify the charge air cooler inlet and outlet air tube quick connect seal condition and location prior to installation. Seal must be evenly seated in the quick connector body and sealing surface must be free of deformation and damage. Deformed or damaged seals can lead to reduced engine power and/or engine stalling.
