Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil fill cap.
  2. GM5335087

    Lift up on the front of the intake manifold cover. (1)

  3. GM5335089

    Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Remove

  4. GM5439440

    Disconnect the electrical connector.

  5. Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  6. Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid (2) - Remove
  7. Camshaft Position Actuator Magnet Gasket (3) - Remove and DISCARD
