Installation Procedure

  1. GM5396466

    Engine Oil Cooler Seal (2) - Install NEW [2x]

  2. Engine Oil Cooler (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Engine Oil Cooler Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  4. GM5396452

    Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (3) @ Engine Oil Cooler - Install

  5. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Outlet Hose (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler - Install
  6. Hose Clamp (1) - Engage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  7. Fill the engine oil to the proper level with NEW engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement (RWD)
  8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716)
