Installation Procedure

  1. GM5507623

    Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe (3) - Install

  2. Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (1) - Install [2x]
  3. Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (2) @ Radiator Outlet Hose - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type 
  4. GM5507622

    Install the radiator outlet hose retainer (1) into the radiator outlet hose connector.

  5. Install the auxiliary radiator outlet pipe (2) to the engine auxiliary radiator ensuring the radiator outlet hose retainer (1) is fully engaged.
  6. Radiator Outlet Hose Clip (3) - Install

    Front Wheelhouse Liner (3) - Move into position

  8. Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) - Install
    9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  9. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. GM5422163

    Front Bumper Fascia Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  11. GM5398004

    Front Compartment Air Deflector (1) - Install

  12. GM5398001

    Front Compartment Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

  13. GM5398000

    Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  14. Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Install
  15. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  16. GM5421515
    NOTE:

    Quantity of fasteners may vary based on option content.

    Engine Front Splash Shield (3) - Install

  17. Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
  18. Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
  19. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  20. GM5394612

    Front Tire Front Air Deflector (2) - Remove

  21. Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
  22. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716) 
  23. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
