Installation Procedure

  1. GM5867788

    Install the auxiliary radiator inlet hose retainer (1) to the auxiliary radiator inlet hose connector at the right side charge air cooler.

  2. Install the auxiliary radiator inlet hose (2) to the right side charge air cooler.

    Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Hose (1) @ Engine Radiator - Install

  4. Radiator Inlet Hose Clamp (2) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

    Auxiliary Radiator Front Duct- Right Side (1) - Install

  6. GM5873051

    Front Bumper Impact Bar (2) - Install

  7. Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications
  8. Install the wiring harness.

    Horn- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  10. Horn Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Bracket Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  12. Auxiliary Radiator Front Inlet Duct- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    { If equipped } Forward Range Radar Bracket (2) - Install

  14. { If equipped } Forward Range Radar Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  15. { If equipped } Connect the electrical connector.

    Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer- Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

  17. GM5454422

    Auxiliary Radiator Duct Retainer- Right Side (1) - Install [3x]

  18. GM5839403

    Front Bumper Fascia (1) - Install - Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Removal and Installation (with Blackwing CFV, CFZ)

    Front Bumper Fascia Lower Reinforcement- Right Side (2) - Install

  20. Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt- Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt- Right Side (3) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  22. Front Bumper Fascia Lower Stiffener Bolt- Right Side (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  23. Front Bumper Fascia Bolt- Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  24. Lower the vehicle.
  25. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  26. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
