Installation Procedure

    Air Conditioning Condenser (1) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Air Conditioning Condenser Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Install the engine radiator intercooler heat exchanger (1) to the engine radiator.

  4. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Radiator Air Side Baffle - Right Side (2) - Install

  6. Radiator Air Side Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    Radiator Air Side Baffle - Left Side (1) - Install

  8. Radiator Air Side Baffle Retainer (2) - Install [3x]

    Radiator Lower Insulator (1) - Install [2x]

    Install the engine coolant fan module radiator (1) with assistance.

    Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose (2) @ Engine Radiator - Install

  12. Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose Retainer (1) - Engage

    Position the forward lamp wiring harness (2) into position.

  14. Wiring Harness Retainer (3) @ Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bracket - Install
  15. Electrical Connector (1) @ Engine Cooler Fan - Connect

    Radiator Upper Bracket- Right Side (3) - Install

  17. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  18. Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Install

    Radiator Upper Bracket- Left Side (2) - Install

  20. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Refer to Air Conditioning Sealing Washers Oil or Lubricant Exposure Caution .

    Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Small (2) - Install NEW

  22. Air Conditioning Refrigerant Heat Exchanger (1) - Install

    Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal - Large (3) - Install NEW

  24. Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (2) - Install
  25. Air Conditioning Condenser Hose Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Air Cleaner Assembly (2) - Install

  50. Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  51. Install all retainers and wiring harnesses to the air cleaner assembly as necessary.
  52. Connect the 2 mass airflow sensor electrical connectors.

    Auxiliary Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (4) - Install

    54. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  54. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (3) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  55. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (2) - Install
  56. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bracket - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

  58. Install the forward lamp wire harness retainers to the left and right side front end sheet metal cross brace brackets.

    Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] Fastener Specifications

  61. Front Suspension Strut Upper Mounting Nut- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  62. Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  63. Install all wiring harness retainers to the front end sheet metal cross braces.

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle- Lower (2) - Install

  65. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [2x]

  67. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Transmission Control Module (1) @ Engine Control Module Bracket (2) - Install

    Engine Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Engine Control Module (1) - Install

  73. Connect the electrical connectors.

    Radiator Surge Tank Outlet Pipe (3) - Install

  75. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (4) @ Engine Radiator - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  76. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clip (2) @ Engine Control Module Bracket - Install
  77. Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Clamp (1) @ Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
  78. Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LF4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LF4 GE 47716)
  79. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  80. Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging 
  81. Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
