Removal Procedure

Sunroof Window (2) - Remove - Sunroof Window Replacement

Roof Stationary Window (2) - Remove - Roof Stationary Window Replacement
Reposition the sunroof window seal as needed.

Sunroof Mid Seal Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

Insert a locking pin (1) to hold the spring tension of the sunroof sunshade (2) during removal.

Sunroof Sunshade Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

Grasp the edge of the sunroof sunshade edge stiffener (1) and rotate forward and downward to release the sunroof sunshade edge stiffener (1) from the cable drive plate (2) at both ends of the sunroof sunshade.

NOTE:
Be careful when releasing the retainer, as the lower portion is thin and fragile.

Release the 2 sunroof sunshade retainers (1) at each end of the sunroof sunshade (3) and slide together rearward from the cable drive plates (2).

NOTE:
Observe the location of sunroof sunshade to sunroof sunshade side guide channel to ensure proper reinstallation.

Remove the sunroof sunshade (1) with the sunroof sunshade retainers (2).
Transfer components as necessary.
