1 Valve Rocker Arm Wear Pad
NOTE:

Valve rocker arm wear pads are installed on intake valves only.
2 Valve Stem Key

Procedure

  1. Install the J-8062  compressor (3) onto the head.
  2. Remove the valve stem keys.

Special Tools 
J-8062  Valve Spring Compressor
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
3 Valve Stem Spring Cap
4 Valve Spring
5 Valve Stem Oil Seal
NOTE:

NEVER reuse a valve stem oil seal.
6 Intake Valve
7 Exhaust Valve
