Removal Procedure

- Starter - Remove - Starter Replacement (LT4) .
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
EN-42386-A Flywheel Holding Tool (1) - Install
- Use one M10 - 1.5 x 120 mm bolt and one M10 - 1.5 x 45 mm bolt for proper tool installation. Tighten the EN-42386-A Flywheel Holding Tool (1) bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
- Camshaft Position Actuator Magnet - Remove - Camshaft Position Actuator Magnet Replacement
- CAUTION:
The camshaft position actuator solenoid valves must be kept parallel to the engine front cover during removal and installation. The camshaft position actuator solenoid valves can be damaged if they become wedged or stuck during this process.
Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve (1) - Remove and DISCARD
